Initially a well functioning website was the main focus of a digital media campaign. Today many are questioning the need for a website with most of the sales closures being in well scripted social media campaigns or funnels that will close the deal for you
I tend to think that the website still has an important role to play in your business plans for 2 reasons
For many the business name is the website address and whilst you may not be able to search and find a social media post you can search the Businsess Name to their website. No website -Missed opportunity. Your website should be like your on-line storeroom (probably a bit more presentable than your on-site storeroom).
All your information should be up-to-date, presentable and easy to navigate to find whatever they may be looking for (menus, brochures, specials, catalogues, signup or login forms) Use more pages instead of long pages everything should be readily easily seen as users do not like long scrolling.
